M.A.C.V.—Mobilizing America’s Commitment to Veterans

Maggie DeSanti is the first recipient of the MACV Lifetime Achievement Award. She was a M.A.S.H. nurse in Vietnam who proudly served our country for more than 20yrs in the Army, in both times of peace and war. After 9/11, she requested and was returned to active duty where she again helped heal and care for her fellow soldiers.

Each semester the Maricopa Association of Combat Veterans will award one deserving female Veteran enrolled in any Maricopa Community College a $1,000 scholarship. Qualified Candidates will be collected through the MCC District Office and final selection will be made by the MACV Board of Directors.
