02-2010 -The MACV Foundation is currently looking to add members to it's Board of Directors. If you or anyone you know would like to join MACV and lend your hand in helping our American Heroes please contact the MACV Founder Jerry Walker.  

 

02-2010The Presidents Day, MACV fundraiser presentation of "Give Em Hell Harry" was a huge success! Mr. Gary Seivers once again provided an execptional inactment of Mr. Harry Truman that is truely enlightening and entertaining to the audience. With the help of the audience we were able to exceed our fund raising goal! A special thank you goes out to all in attendance and to those that volunteered to make this a successful event.    

 

12-2009 - MACV held its first Board of Directors Meeting. Fourteen board member nominees were approved and appointed to the Board by a unanimous voice vote. Other MACV business matters were discussed and outlined for action.

09-2009 - MACV Appoints its First CEO

The Board of MACV Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of its first Chief Executive Officer. Gene van den Bosch is a seasoned professional with 30 years experience as an adjunct faculty for colleges and universities and as an Association executive. Forming van den Bosch & Associates in 1996, Gene raised $6.7 million through private grants and public contracts for various private and public agencies and collaborations based in Chicago, Phoenix, and Seattle.

Gene achieved his MA in Communication at Northern Illinois University and his MPA in Public Administration from Arizona State University. He studied Sociology and Educational Psychology at the University of Alberta, Canada.

He directed offices for Communication, Development, Public Policy and Government Affairs. Gene directed state associations providing advocacy, education, prevention and support services in Illinois, Arizona and Washington. He served as Senior Educator for the Washington Administrative Office of the Courts. He taught Communication and Leadership at universities and colleges.

Gene currently serves as the Board President of The Alliance Northwest - a not-for-profit consortium of individuals, groups, organizations and agencies concerned with those - such as veterans who survived a traumatic brain injury - requiring long-term care and recovery services.


 

04-2009 - Announcing "Give'em Hell Harry" Fund Raiser,a benefit concert staring Gary Sievers as Harry. Gary Sievers has been the star of this one man routine for 20 years and will perform Janurary 15th 2010 at Mesa Community College at 7:00 PM. Proceeds from this event go to the MACV Foundation.


 

09-2008 - The MACV Foundation has made arrangements with the Web Hosting Goods Store to begin development of the Foundation's website.
